Mad Men actress (and Lucky cover girl) Christina Hendricks knows how to rock the red carpet—and really, considering her retro-calendar-girl curves, the actress could probably wear a paper bag and still make the Best Dressed lists. Still, the visual evidence is clear: From short and chic frocks (thank you, Dolce & Gabbana) to va-va-voom gowns (witness her 2008 Emmy dress below), Hendricks isn’t afraid to take fashion risks, even though she’s aware of the stakes: “For award shows, people are taking pictures of every inch of you. They are taking pictures of your fingers and your toes!” she says. Here’s what the famous redhead has to say about some of her favorite looks.

June 28th with 12 notes | reblogWe are madly girl-crushing on Christina Hendricks here at Lucky. What’s not to love about her? She’s proud of her curves, has the most fabulous hair color we’ve ever seen, and simultaneously scares the hell out of us and earns our empathy as Mad Men’s Joan (all while wearing clothes so chic we wish we could transport ourselves back straight back to the ’60s). As it turns out, Hendricks is as uniquely stylish off-screen as she is on, which made us think, ‘Hey, I want to shop where she’s shopping!’ She coolly cooperated and made it easy for us (and you) to crib her style.
